The federated information management system requires collaboration within all the participating countries and so the development of EOSC Federation is important. o Widening the use of EOSC to industry should be connected with EU projects and shouldn't be anyhow mandatory for the business sector in other projects or business initiatives. o Promoting FAIR data management principles is good as well as the legislative exceptions for the research use of data and publications. o It should be taking into consideration that FAIR data management is not free and there is also cost for curation and storing the data after the project is closed. The long term operations should be secured without extra burden to the RPOs. o The basic principle "as open as possible as closed as necessary" cannot be forgotten. Research organisations have many commercial projects including confidential information, IPR documentation or other content what cannot be disclosed. There are many legislative and also other cases when the data cannot be opened. o The international competitive edge and geopolitical situations should also noticed when relevant. All the data shouldn't be opened at the global level for several reasons.
